April Meeting
Please join us on Friday Evening, April 5th
at 6:30 p.m. at the Swim and Tennis Club, for the April Friends and
Neighbors meeting.
Our April 5th program features Jerri Marr, Superintendent of the
Colonial National Historical Park, which encompasses both Jamestown
and Yorktown. Her presentation will focus on the ongoing
improvements to the Colonial Parkway. This project is the first
major holistic rehabilitation of the parkway since it opened in
1957. Ms. Marr also provides oversight of the Fort Monroe National
Monument and the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historical
Trail. Prior to coming to Williamsburg in 2021, she worked for the
United States Forest Service and was a Fellow in the White House
Leadership Development Program.
If you have not joined for the 2023-2024 season, membership may be paid prior to or at the April meeting. Download a membership form and leave it at the John Pott Gate in an envelope marked "Friends and Neighbors Club".
